How can I have my Ring app open automatically on my mobile phone when I receive an alert. At the moment I have to open the app manually and often by the time it opens the person at my door has gone.

If it were me, I would uninstall at least 10 storage hog apps, delete all unnecessary pics & **videos** (you can transfer them all to Google Photos app/Dropbox for free before deleting, and clean junk files (for android) and free up memory on iOS using Device Monitor app. If I couldn’t afford a new phone I would do these things too; uninstall Facebook & Instagram and put them on my iPad. Do all this and your problem should be solved. Your problem is your phone is too bogged down and cannot work fast anymore. You have to free up your phone. You need more free storage on your phone for it to operate better, quicker. I hope this helps.🙂

As far as having the Ring app open automatically, that’s not going to happen, unfortunately. We don’t have that technology on our devices yet.
