RING APP SWITCHING TO PORTRAIT MODE
So it’s 2026. From what I can see, this is a years old issue and I’ve not had this issues until a few days ago. Again….My ring app just started doing this. Shutting down live view goes into portrait mode and the only way to correct it is to close the ring app and restart it. I never had to do this and it only happens with the RING app. I tried everything I could think of. Updating ring app, resetting control panel, restarting app, updating app, restarting ipad. It’s in the app, I prefer if you would just please fix it. It’s not my ipad, it’s the ring app unless ios is intentionally causing the ring app to do this, it’s so annoying. Thank you for your as fast as possible attention.

Please help I have same issue here iPad 8th generation, IOS 26.4, Ring app 5.100.1, truly annoying that they are taking so long to correct this issue.

I have the same problem too, sounds to me like a ring update has re introduced an old bug, needs fixing, clearly not just related to a single person issue,
im on iPad Pro (12.9-inch) (5th generation)
IOS 26.3.1
Ring app version 5.99.1
build ver XX.XX.XX.XX
