Ring App Gives Confilcting Information
A few months ago I added a Ring Wireless camera to my devices. It worked fine for quite a while, but recently I saw that in the Android Ring app it was offline and had not updated in a few days. I wanted to see if the battery needed to be recharged so I looked on the Device Status screen. It showed the battery charge at 73%, but also showed that the camera was online.
I went back out to the Home screen but the camera still did not show a recent image.
I dismounted the camera and brought it inside where it immediately started working with the app being updated with new images.
It seems that there is no hardware issue with the camera itself and no configuration issue with my WiFi network. The RSSI signal strength is 66. If weak WiFi was the cause, why had it worked without error for a few months before going offline?
Should the camera recover from an Internet outage automatically or is some intervention required?
Thanks!

HI @user_718f54. Wifi connectivity can be variable, so a device may be connected with a stable signal most of the time, but may disconnect when the signal gets weaker. Typically, when a Ring device loses connection, it will automatically try to reconnect to wifi. If the signal isn't strong enough, the device will remain offline. An RSSI of -66 is approaching the high end and could be improved. We have some tips on improving the wifi connection here.
