If you are no longer seeing the number of new events icon for your Ring devices in the Ring app, try the following steps: - Verify your Ring app and phone are up-to-date with the latest updates available. - If you added a VPN to your phone, you will need to disable it since the Ring app is not compatible with VPNs. - Uninstall and reinstall the Ring app. This will require you to log back in to your account, which requires knowing your email and password. If you do not remember your password, you will have to reset it. You also want to make sure before uninstalling the app that the [OS on your phone is compatible with downloading the latest version of the Ring app](https://support.ring.com/hc/en-us/articles/4812209807124-Mobile-Device-Compatibility-and-the-Ring-App), or else you will not be able to reinstall the app. If you tried these steps and are still having the same concern, please provide what phone and OS you have. Also provide what Ring app version and Ring models you have.

I was wondering the exact same thing. It seems Ring has really messed up their app with the latest update. it? It’s very irritating!

The was a useful feature and now I have to go through the timeline to see what I missed. Pain to do that on 6+ cameras. My ring plan is coming up for renewal and this feature of the number of missed events on each camera in the dashboard is a must and if not, I will not renew my ring subscription. Not sure why ring would make it harder and not more useful.
