Door bell notifications on phone

I have a Peephole doorbell and am using the Android app on 2 Google Pixel phones
- A Pixel 3 with the primary ring account that the bell is registered to
- A Pixel 3a with an account the bell is shared with
Both phones are configured with exactly the same settings and tones.
Both phones notify of movement, however quite often the phone on the primary account does not receive notification that the button has been pushed and play the tone whereas the phone on the shared account always works.
This means that we have missed people ringing the doorbell, not great for a doorbell seeing as it is it's primary purpose.
Obviously the event is recorded in the history (not surprising as it notified one of the phones correctly) so the issue is not with the bell but with the way the app is being notified or processing the notification.
I have checked all the permissions and battery saving modes on both phones and they are identical with no restrictions or optimising switched on. Also both phones have the same number of limited apps on them (as I manage both phones).

- BFurther to my last reply I have noticed the following using the Android app. As there is often a delay in sounding the motion detected sound the visitor can press the doorbell just as the motioned detected sound is playing. In these situations the doorbell ring sound is never played. As previously mentioned the doorbell rind sound should always have priority of if this is not possible it should be played immediately after the movement detected sound.....•

- DIs there any solution to this? I am having this same issue with a battery doorbell plus and it's very irritating. The primary function of this device should be as a doorbell. When someone presses it I should receive the notification to my phone. Instead I get the motion alert sound as someone is walking up my driveway, but then often no sound when they press the doorbell. I don't want to have to check everytime a motion alert is sounded as it sometimes goes off when someone is walking past the front of the house. Or if someone else is coming in or leaving the house when I'm out. But when someone presses the bell I want to be notified so I can answer it!! This is the main point of owning a video doorbell surely! There's a recorded "ring" in the app and also I have the notification "someone is at your doorbell" notification on my phone. But no "ring" sound notification. I think it's because the motion triggered by the person walking up the drive is taking priority over the doorbell press ring one. This is such an oversight in the design as obviously a motion will be triggered before a doorbell press. As the person needs to get to the doorbell before pressing it! So something needs to be changed that the doorbell press takes priority over the motion alert. Please fix this ring!!!•
