Range extender going offline on AC power

Over the past week the range extender has been going offline at almost daily. It reconnects immediately if I unplug the extender and it switches to battery power. Once reconnected to power it will remain connected for about a day then the cycle repeats. Ideas on what may be causing the disconnection?

I have had the same problem with both of my extenders going offline for hours. Ever since the firmware update in 4/14/2021. Why is this? And why both of them now?

Exact same issue here. Are there any solutions?

It's been in the same outlet for years and suddenly the extender (1st gen) goes offline while on AC power, then come online if I unplugged it and leave it unplugged until the battery is low.

Then I plug it in and it stays online until it is fully charged (I assume) and goes offline again.

Repeat the process...
