New Ring Flood sensor - Continual "water detected"

Hello, just bought a Ring Flood sensor and placed it basement floor next to my water heater. Completely dry concrete floor, wiped it with a towel. I'm continually getting false alarm "Water Detected" alerts through the base station. Has anyone had this issue? Know how to fix this?
