I have a conservatory with sliding doors and windows. There are two windows with two sliding sections and a door with two sliding sections. Do I need 3 or 6 sensors please?

You need 6 door and window sensors in total. Every sliding section that can open needs its own sensor pair (one part on the moving frame and one part on the fixed frame) to ensure an alarm triggers if any individual pane is opened. [1] Sensor Breakdown Sliding Door: 2 sensors (one for each sliding section). First Window: 2 sensors (one for each sliding section). Second Window: 2 sensors (one for each sliding section). [1, 2, 3] Why You Need 6 Sensors Sliding panels move independently. A thief can open a section that lacks a sensor without setting off an alarm. Both halves of a two-part slider can often be moved or jimmied open. [1] If you want, tell me the brand of your alarm system (like Ring, SimpliSafe, or a hardwired panel) and I can check if these sensors are easy to link or if you need a specific model type
