Base station not loud enough
alarm-siren
troubleshooting
We have an issue where we have our base station on the main floor of our house and the volume set to the loudest possible but when the alarm triggers it cannot be heard in the basement or upstairs. I was told we can’t use multiple base stations but was hoping there was some other product that can be used to provide the siren to other parts of the house where it can’t be heard.

Hi @dinog050. You cannot add another Base Station to your location for an extra siren, but you have other options. You can add a Dome Siren for an additional siren. You can also use Echo devices as sirens for your Ring Alarm. I hope this helps.

System needs a proper siren.  Domes are not the answer

I’m having the same issue. When the entry and exit delay chirps are playing, I cannot hear a single thing. I have it in a very central place and still nothing. I contacted ring to see if there’s possibly something they could do and the customer support was not even listening to me. I kept asking what I can possibly do and he keeps trying to sell me a keypad even though I already own 3. I think ring needs to make an indoor siren that plays entry/ exit beeps, voice that says “armed/ disarmed” and needs to be loud. I expect it when at full volume to be 75 to 85 decibels.
