Arming alarm using Mode Schedules
troubleshooting
alarm-alerts
I have set my alarm to automatically switch to Home mode from midnight to 7am, using the Mode Schedules app function. That way, the door/window sensors are active, but not the motion sensors so that I can move around the house without triggering the alarm.
It all seems to work but there is one very annoying thing: I don't think it happens all the time, but at midnight, the alarm sometimes gives a very audible countdown warning of it entering Home mode. I recently went to bed early and jumped out of my skin when I was woken at midnight by the alarm countdown sounds.
Is this normal behaviour, and if so is there a way to disable it when automatically arming?
Thanks!

- SI ran into the same issue. I have set my Home mode to engage at midnight, in case I forget to arm it manually at night, and the countdown announcement from the base station and keypad wakes us up. I set the exit delay to 0, but it's still frightening to hear the "Armed/Disarmed" announcement while you are sleeping. On a related note, what's the recommended way to temporarily disarm the system and keep everything quiet? Let's say it's 10pm, the family is asleep, Home mode is armed, and I need to go outside to check the mail. I don't want all those announcements and door chimes to go off waking people up.•
