spotlight camera batteries not charging with solar panel

Few months ago I purchased a non ring solar panel which worked great a few months charging my ring batteries. last week it seemed to stop charging the batteries. I purchased a Ring large solar panel a few days ago, all looked good the little battery icons on my ring app showed them charging. however the batteries are not charging and charge going down each day. So why are the batteries not charging even though they appear to be on the app.
