Is my Ring Chime dead?

Hi, I have a ring chime that appears to be dead. The blue logo is off and when I plug in and unplug the unit, nothing appears to happen. I’ve tried different outlets with no success. Pressing the rest button on the side does nothing as well.

Should I toss it into the dumpster?

    Hi @BlueSkyHi. For the Chime, the main troubleshooting steps available are to plug it into a different power outlet that is confirmed to work, and to perform a reset by holding down the button on the side for at least 15 seconds. If the Chime is unresponsive after trying these steps, I’d suggest getting in touch with our support team to see what options are available.
