Transfer of ownership
Hi. Currently a Ring customer with the Home Standard with included Professional Monitoring.We are selling our house and the new buyer is going to get the existing equipment (except for one doorbell camera and one outdoor camera that I have already moved to use at our new place).I expect to buy a new monitoring station/keypad/motion sensors/contact sensors for our new place to use with the doorbell camera and outdoor camera we already brought over).Can this go on my existing Ring account as a second location and then I can delete the original location from my account?How do I go about transferring the equipment at the house to the new owner once they take possession (base station, keypad, contact sensors, motion sensor, panic button, water sensor, range extender)?Just want to ensure I do things in the right order

Thanks. After I remove the devices including the base station from my account, will I still preserve the Home Standard subscription in my account? Can I then just buy a new base station and whatever devices I want at our new home and add these to my account (and update my address/contact information)? Thanks

THi @slydude. If you remove the Base Station, it will not affect your Ring Home Plan. If you add a Base Station to an account that includes Monitoring, you'll be covered. You can find more information here:

Hi @Slydude. You cannot transfer an already set up device to a different account. In this case, you will want to remove the Ring Alarm system components first, and then the Base Station from your Ring account. This will allow the new owners to set the system up under their Ring account. You cannot transfer an already set up device to a different account.
