Hi @bobby1987!. Most Ring devices are only compatible with 2.4GHz connections, while some are also compatible with 5GHz connections. The main difference is that 5GHz offers higher speeds, but at a lower effective range than 2.4GHz. For a Ring Doorbell or Camera installed outside, a 2.4GHz connection may offer a more stable connection.
