Hello,

This is a very common problem but...how do I repair or replace a broken (ring spotlight cam, hard wired, Pro or Plus) swivel base.  In short, the tabs on the base that tighten around the cameras swivel ball have broken. These are the tabs that the metal ring tighten against to reduce the swivel movement when aimin the camera.

I have both the Ring spotlight cam Pro and Plus units and have one of each that have broken from either age or defective design.

I do not want to try glueing them for fear that the glue would prevent the swivel from working in the future.
