Mounting Bracket issue with the Ring Doorbell Plus

Ring provided an angled mounting bracket with their hardware included in package. This would have been great, if it were not angled. My wires coming out of the wall had to have extension wires attached (included in hardware package). The issue is that tying together extension wires to existing wiring out of the wall, requires wire nuts (also included in hardware package). These wire nuts will not fit into existing wall. I need a flat mounting bracket that has at least 1/2" hollow center to tuck the wire nuts into. The size and hollowing of the included bracket would have worked perfectly, if not for it being angled. I wish ring would supply both options. Not everyone requires angling the camera. All this said, I will note that ring support has been fantastic! They are quick to answering a call and doing their best to resolve issues. Very impressed! The product research team just needs to provide more mounting options.
