I like the Chime Pro (2nd Gen) Nightlight feature; however, the daylight sensitivity needs to be lower, or better still - adjustable in the Ring app. With its factory settings, the nightlight only turns off if the sun is shining directly on it. When the sun moves so that the light does not perfectly align through the bedroom window and door to shine directly on the chime, the light comes on. The light is on about 23 hours a day, wasting electricity and reducing its own lifespan. It is 10:00 am here at the moment, with full bright sunlight, yet the nightlight is still on. The factory setting is way too high.

Possible Solutions:

1. Update the firmware to make the nightlight only come on if it is DARK,
2. Add a feature to the Ring app to allow the user to set on and off times where the nightlight does not come on during defined times regardless of the ambient light, and/or
3. Add a feature to the Ring app to allow the user to adjust the light level that triggers the nightlight to come on.
