Ring wired spotlight camera draining battery.

I have the same issue as other customers post about. My Ring spotlight camera is wired (external plug not hard wired) and still draws from the battery often. Is this trickle charge or defective camera?

Hi @user_97e061. Which model of Spotlight Cam do you have? You can find the device name on the Device Health page in the Ring app. There are a few different versions, so I want to ensure I'm providing accurate information for the one you have. Additionally, are you using an official Ring power cable, or a third-party power cable? It's important to only use compatible Ring accessories, as we cannot guarantee the performance of third-party accessories.
