My ring door bell no longer works. I've checked the setup and connection to my WIFI over 10 x, moving to different outlets and trying from 5 seconds to 30 seconds. It's obviously defective.

CHi @user_195cb6. Are you referring to a Ring Doorbell, or a Ring Chime? I ask because the Ring Chime is the device that plugs into a power outlet, and can play an audible alert from your Ring Doorbell or Security Camera.
If you're talking about a Ring Chime, please check the marked solution to ensure you have it properly linked with your Doorbell. Our support team can assist if the Chime is set up properly, but is still not playing an audible alert.•1

My chime worked for a couple of months then stopped. No change to wifi or anything. Followed all the guidance to disconnect and reset etc etc but still no chime. Contacted Ring and they couldn’t work it out either. When the doorbell is pressed it makes a noise at the doorbell and Alexa echo dot tells me somebody is there, but no chime. I wonder if there’s too many connections or the Alexa and my mobile phone (often work remotely and need to be contactable through the doorbell for customers) which is confusing it maybe? Seems like a waste of money teally

Hi @user38047. You will want to double check that you have linked the Chime to your Doorbell. If that checks out, try power cycling your Chime by unplugging it for a few seconds and plugging it back in. Lastly, reset your Chime by pressing and holding the button on the side for 15 seconds, then reconnect it to your wifi. If you have tried these steps and are still having the same concern, our support team can take a closer look. You can get in touch at one of the numbers available here, or on Facebook @Ring by sending a private message.
