Something similar worked for me. After multiple failed attempts to reconnect to my network after changing the password, the blue light continued to spin. I took off the face plate and pushed a little orange button on the side of the unit. When I received a message that the doorbell was in setup mode, I found the doorbell in the app and selected the 'Change Network' option. It immediately reconnected to my wifi network with no problem. Thanks for the suggestions that put me on the correct path!

For anyone who is unable to complete the in-app setup of their Ring Doorbell or Camera, either due to receiving an error message or not seeing the Ring setup network, please try the following troubleshooting steps:
- Reboot your phone and disconnect any Bluetooth devices such as headphones or watches that may be connected to your phone.
- Disable any VPNs or hotspots you have running on your phone or mobile device.
- If you have access to another mobile phone or tablet, try the setup process on there.
- If you're still not seeing the Ring setup network appear, reset your Ring Doorbell or Camera by holding down the setup button for at least 20 seconds before attempting the setup process again.
- Make sure that your Ring device is close enough to the router to receive a strong signal for the setup process. Most Ring devices are also only compatible with a 2.4 GHz wifi network, so you may need to create a guest network if you have a dual-band router.
