Currently have to wait 30 seconds for recording to take place before ringing again.  This is not acceptable functionality for a door bell.

I will be returning my Chime because of this.  May even sell the Ring doorbells and go back to a regular door bell.  Just a stupid design and you haven't fixed it despite years of complaints about it, so I see little hope for an actually acceptable resolution.
