Metal door and WiFi extender and still doesn’t work

I have a metal door and already purchased the WiFi extender. Ring doorbell doesn’t connect when the door is closed! I tried moving the router closer and still nothing. Any suggestions?

Hi @user_5765f6. I would recommend factory resetting your Doorbell by pressing and holding the setup button for 20 seconds, then reconnecting it to your Wi-Fi. You will also want to ensure you are connecting to the signal broadcast by your Wi-Fi extender, rather than connecting directly to your router.
