Installing Doorbell 3 plus question... looking to hardwire but disable the original doorbell.
Hello. I have just purchased the Ring Doorbell 3 Plus, and the Ring Chime Pro (2nd Generation). I'm looking to hardwire the Ring doorbell with the existing wires (so as not to be playing around with batteries), use the chime pro for use as the doorbell chime, but would like the original doorbell to be disabled. It's way too loud and we have people at home that work nights, sleep days. Is something like this configuration possible? i have no background in electronics. Thanks for any help you can give :)

Not absolutely sure but if you go into Settings, device settings, In-home Chime Settings, Advanced Settings and select Mechanical, it will give you options of ring or not ringing the In-Home Chime when the doorbell is pressed.
