Doorbell won’t charge even while hardwired

If my Doorbell won’t charge even while hardwired, what is my next step? I used to be fine and at 100%, but just found it at 30% and declining. Has the internal battery gone bad?

Hi @jpetrovic. Would you mind sharing what model Ring Doorbell you're referencing? It would also be helpful to share what transformer you are using as well as its voltage rating. As a general tip, you can always reset your doorbell and [reconnect](https://support.ring.com/hc/en-us/articles/360034825092-How-to-Reconnect-Your-Ring-Device-to-Wifi-or-Change-Your-Wifi-Network) it to wifi. To reset your doorbell, press and hold the setup button for 20 seconds, then release. This should cause your doorbell to reflect the corrected power source once it finishes a quick update. I hope this helps!
