Doorbell wired, can I use existing hidden wiring?

I have just got the new doorbell wired to add to my already newly installed cameras. Whilst waiting for the bell to become available we changed our front door with a brand new installation. During the changed I installed a new doorbell cable with the wire hidden except at each end. My question is can I use this cable to connect the bell to the transformer?
