Doorbell 2 install problems
Hello I have tried to install my doorbell 2 however it appears to be stuck installing an update. The unit flashes full white for a while then blue and back to white. I have tried resetting using the orange button pressed for 15 seconds however the unit does not appear to reset as the flashing continues however long I keep the rest button pressed. The unit does appear to have connected to my WiFi as I can access a health report via both the app and web login.

Hi @user_84590d. Does the Ring app specifically say that the Doorbell is installing a firmware update? To reset the Doorbell, you have to hold down the setup button for 20 seconds straight, then release the button. After the reset is done, walk through a new setup in the Ring app using the steps under Set Up a Device. If the Ring app prompts for a firmware update, move the Doorbell closer to your wifi router if possible. The update should only take about 15 minutes, depending on the wifi connection.
