Battery low notification on a hardwired device

Question

I keep getting alerts that the battery is low on the device. The device is hardwired and when I check after I get the notification it is not low. Rings support is horrible now and can't get any answers.

Hi @debbie4. A few things to consider here. First, make sure that your Ring app is up to date. If your Ring app is out of date, it could result in poor communication between your devices and give false alerts. Next you'll want to make sure your transformer is sufficient enough to provide a trickle charge. The transformer needs to be at least 16 VAC, 30 VA. If you have verified both of those suggestions, I would follow up with support on your open support ticket to see if there is any new updates. :slightly_smiling_face:
