Question about Move and Upgrade
I have paid for a year long subscription on a Ring Pro doorbell and Ring Stickup unit. I will be moving in a few weeks, leaving my doorbell behind and taking my Stickup unit with me. I want to buy a Ring 3 doorbell for the new home. Is it possible to transfer my remaining subscription time on the doorbell over to the new unit at the new home?
Thank you!

- CThank you ~ ALL very helpful information! I went back and looked and I have the Ring Protect plan. It's good to know it provides further purchase discounts! I appreciate you explaining how to release the ownership as well. I NEVER would have figured all this out on my own...thank you again!!•

Glad to help! :) But to be clear because you didn't say whether you had the "Basic" or "Plus" (there are two types of Ring Protect plans), the Ring Protect **Basic** Plan (tied to individual device not location without Extended Warranty) and the Ring Protect **Plus** Plan (tied to all devices at one location with Extended Warranty). With "Plus" Plan, for extended warranty coverage to apply to your Ring device(s), the device(s) must be within its original warranty period when you subscribe to Ring Protect Plus. Once the original warranty expires, the device will be covered under Ring Protect Plus until you discontinue your subscription. That's why I emphasized that if you are indeed on a "Plus" Plan (not Basic), for you to get a new "Plus" Plan for the new location before letting go (discontinuing) your old "Plus" plan (if your device is already past original one-year warranty), so you don't have a lapse in extended warranty coverage. If your Stick-Up cam is still under the one-year warranty, then this won't be an issue for you, as long as your new "Plus" plan is purchased before that one-year original warranty runs out. :) [https://support.ring.com/hc/en-us/articles/115005020643-Ring-Protect-Subscription-Plans](https://support.ring.com/hc/en-us/articles/115005020643-Ring-Protect-Subscription-Plans) [https://shop.ring.com/pages/protect-plans](https://shop.ring.com/pages/protect-plans) Yes it is a cool benefit with the Ring Protect **Plus** Plan you have the 10% off select products at Ring.com. And additionally, if you are in the USA, you may be eligible for additional Discounts if you fall into one of these groups. If you qualify, you can take advantage of additional discounts that Ring accepts, of up to 20% off! Through VerifyPass: - Military: Includes Active Duty, Veterans & Dependents. - Responder: Includes Police, Fire and EMT. - Medical: Includes Doctors, Nurses & medical staff. - Teacher: Includes Pre-K, K-12 and Professors. - Student: Includes Students with an eligible e-mail. - Senior: Includes Senior citizens (55+). Here is the link to get you started, if you are in one of these groups: [https://shop.ring.com/pages/exclusive-discounts](https://shop.ring.com/pages/exclusive-discounts) I also wanted to say Thank You to you too, for marking my reply as a solution and for the "Kudo." I really do appreciate that. :) :) :)•1
