Change in warranty replacement process
I have been a ring customer for over 15 years. Although contacting support was always a laborious undertaking, it has become even worse since it was purchased by amazon. I have just spent 45 minutes on an excruciatingly long phone call with support to get a chime replaced to discover that the process now requires you to return the item before the replacement is shipped. Previously, the replacement was shipped immediately. Ring people must stay up late at night to think up new ways to annoy and frustrate their customers. So, the price of my yearly coverage has doubled and the service has decreased. I would switch to another product but since I first installed the system, I no longer climb ladders. Let's see what else ring can come up with to further devalue its product.
