Hi @jojo47. The light is turning on and off because it is detecting motion. I would first look of the [Light Settings](https://support.ring.com/hc/en-us/articles/360000311583-Controlling-the-Lights-on-the-Spotlight-Cam-Battery) in your Ring app. You can also try using a [Light Schedule.](https://support.ring.com/hc/en-us/articles/360019494811-Using-Light-Scheduling-on-Your-Floodlight-Cam) If this doesn't seem to improve, you can reach out to our support team for further guidance. tom- there was no motion. the light was flashing on and off every 15 seconds for 4 hours until it finally stopped. it has not happened again so i am hoping it was a one time glitch. i’ve been using ring spotlight cams at shop and at home for years and have never had this issue before.
