I'm installing my spotlight cam and the two mounting posts do not protrude outside of the light fixture enough to screw on the hex nuts.  They are lined up but not far enough out.  To me, it seems like the inside plastic piece (that holds the nylon strap when installing) is getting in the way of pushing the light fixture onto the mounting plate.  When you look at the semicircle piece that lines up the bottom, it's about 1/3" away.  Any suggestions?
