I'm having the exact same problem. I've removed the nuts to expose the posts and from what it looks like, the light should just slide off the two posts and expose the plate and wiring. I've looked all over for a release or another screw, but I only see a notch at the very bottom which doesn't seem to do anything When I pull, the light does not slide along the posts as expected, instead it pulls from the wall

What did you wind up doing to pop it loose? I'm having the same problem. The entire light will rotate but I can't get it to slide off. I get the impression something has fused inside the bracket - but NOT the wiring. I'm able to barely peek inside to see that the wiring itself is in good shape. There's something between the bracket and the housing for the camera that has fused together.

UWell - figured it out. After years of being installed the inner bracket had some gunk and grime fusing the outer housing to it. I got a putty knife inserted between the two pieces near that bottom tab and worked it all the way around to pop it loose.
