no way to watch live feed without recording?
i just bought an indoor cam to check on my new dog when i leave the house. but i never imagined everything (or just every time something moves) would be recorded. i find that weird, but also, i have the 30 day trial of the ring service...if there is no way to watch the feed without recording does that mean after 30 days i'll either have to subscribe to the service or the camera becomes useless? thanks in advance ---this is starting to seem like more trouble than its worth.

thats exactly what i needed to know and, since that was all i was hoping for in the first place, perfect for me. i used it an hour ago to check on my dog while i was at the dr and it worked perfectly for that. by the way there were no secret dog parties.

Hi @user_90746e. You do not need an active Ring plan to access Live View. A subscription is required to view video playback after an event occurs. For example, if you do not subscribe after the trial ends, you can still activate Live View to check on your dog, but you will not be able to watch previous motions or Live Views. I hope that helps clarify things.
