replacing a ring peephole camera which had stopped working with a new one

Hello, my Ring Peephole camera had been working for some time but it stopped.  I bought a new one and installed it successfully. I 'deleted' the camera that had failed and I now have the new camera on a 'trial' contract.  I would like the new camera to replace the old one on the standard contract with all the standard facilities like 'history' and to take over the period remaining on my standard contract.  I would be most grateful for some advice.

    Following on......I have now two plans 1) a Ring protect trial (which came with the replacement Ring Peephole that I bout to replace the one that failed) and 2) a ring solo that runs to the end of the year that the failed Ring was covered by. This plan gives the message - “Important you have a plan that is no longer attached to a Ring device, please cancel it now” What should I do to have the ring solo account adopt my new Ring Peephole camera?

      Hi @user_e3072c. Ring Protect Plans are device specific and non-transferable. The Ring Protect Plan for the device you deleted will have to be cancelled and a new Ring Protect Plan will have to subscribed to for your new device. You can learn more anout our Ring Protect Plans here.
