Ring Door Sensor Falls Off Sliding Glass Door

Question

The sensor is securely installed, but the motion of the sliding glass door opening and closing is cause the sensor to detach from its mounting bracket and falls onto the floor. I haven’t found a solution in this Community or anywhere else online. I want to be able to fix this issue ASAP while still being able to replace the battery on the sensor when needed. Please help!

Hi @user_3942a7. The motion of the sliding door opening and closing shouldn't cause the Contact Sensor to fall off if it's securely adhered. Make sure the sensor is firmly attached to the mounting bracket, it should not be loose or come off easily.
