Problemw with wifi change

troubleshooting

I have Ring First Generation products.  I recently changed Wifi networks a few days ago.  I rebooted the base station and then had to reconnect all the sensors.  When the alarm would ring on my prior Wifi it would be very loud.  Now it goes off but it's not nearly as loud.  I went to the device settings and turned the volume up to maximum, but it's still not loud.  And the "chirps" are activated on all the sensors.  Also, the "Test Siren" feature doesn't work.  When I try it, no siren.  And the motion sensor doesn't activate the alarm.  The motion is detected in the "history" feature, but no alarm.

So DOES ANYONE KNOW HOW I CAN FIX ALL OF THESE ISSUES?

Hi there, thank you for reaching out. To clarify, you cannot adjust the volume of the siren on the Ring Alarm Base Station. The volume slider is to control the volume for alerts, such as the chirp tones, while the siren will always play at full volume. Chirp tones can be turned on and off for each individual sensor. Additionally, the siren will only sound when your system is set to Home or Armed, and a monitored sensor is triggered. Try using the Test Siren option again in the Ring app. If you still do not hear the siren, please reach out @Ring on Facebook, X, or Instagram for further assistance.
