Ring Chime Pro2 High Bandwidth Usage

When checking the performance of a new router, I noticed that a Ring Pro2 chime was uploading huge amounts of data. It was NOT ever used as a wifi extender. When I caught it in November 24, it had been uploading increasing amounts since since the router installation in May24. We are both retired so our bandwidth usage is about the same every month. It started April 24 with about 200GB for April & May, almost none in June, then back to 200GB Jul, Aug & Sep. October and November it uploaded almost 400GB each month. Just for reference, we use between 800 & 900GB/mth. October & November almost exceeded or plan at 1.23TB. I couldn't see any way to tell what or where it was sending data.

    Hi @user_948dd6. Where are you seeing that this data is being uploaded from the Chime Pro specifically? If possible, can you please share a screenshot showing this? I'd also recommend resetting the Chime Pro and completing a new setup to see if that resolves this. You can reset the Chime Pro by holding down the button on the side for about 15 seconds. After that, walk through the setups under Set Up a Device to complete a new setup.
