Battery low notifications

I get low battery notifications, but they are often lost because I get a lot of notifications. So I turned on persistent banner style for the Ring app notifications (I’m on iOS), but the app seems to ignore this setting. There should be a way to have low battery notifications require an acknowledgement by the user.
