Light schedules and Motion-Activated Lights

I have a light schedule for outdoor floods for evening hours. I also have Motion-Activated Lights enabled on the same devices. The problem is that if there is motion detected while within the light schedule, the lights get turned off after the shut-off timer period. I could create a motion detection schedule that overlays the light schedule in order to keep the lights on the entire time. However, that would eliminate recording if there is motion during the light schedule, which I don't want. Is there any way to disable the shut-off timer if lights are on within the light schedule? (Or any other setup option that accomplishes the same thing)
