Alternative to Ring Bridge
The Ring Lighting Bridge is no longer available from Ring. Please be aware that the Ring Bridge was prone to disconnecting from WIFI and also had poor range with respect to compatible SMART lighting devices. The alternative is use an Echo 4th generation or Echo Show 10 because both have the Ring Smart Bridge built in. If you decide to switch to the Echo, please do the following:After setting up the Echo device, go to your Ring app and delete ALL of your lighting devices, that were previously connected to the Ring Bridge, as well as the Ring Bridge itself. You will then need to reinstall each lighting device where you will be given the option of connecting each using your new Echo device. Be sure to install the Echo device first AND link your Ring and Amazon accounts together before proceeding. For reference, I completed this procedure a few days ago. 1) I installed my new Echo. 2) I deleted each of my two (2) Ring landscape lighting transformers. 4) I deleted the Ring bridge. 5) I reinstalled each of my Ring transformers, through the Ring app, and selected the Echo as the communication device for each transformer when directed to do so. I have found Echo's built in Ring bridge much more reliable than the stand alone Ring bridge.
