Waiting for Ring.com

I have been using a ring doorbell and three security cameras for a period of time now but I'm now getting the above error when trying to use in conjunction with my Amazon Echo Show 8 2nd Gen.All four cameras worked well in live view with my iPad and iPhone using the IOS app. The problem occurs when I ask my Show to show the front door or any of the other cameras and I get the "waiting for ring dot com" error. (Can't use URL's one here). It will then either wait 10 or 15 seconds and go back to the home screen or say "uh oh the camera isn't responding". I've tried everything including rebooting the router and Show, reinstalling the doorbell, deleting and reinstalling the app, disabling and enabling the skill and many other things.Having dug deep into the Internet for help the only thing I can see that seems to make any sense is somebody who said they got it working by going into the Legacy mode option. Unfortunately, there doesn't seem to be an option for me on either the website or the app to change the video into Legacy mode.I am going round in circles now as Ring who say it's not their problem and refer me to Amazon. Amazon then run a similar set of exhaustive checks before telling me it is a problem with the Ring side of things! No idea what to try next so any help would be greatly received. It would appear from trawling the internet that this is a known issue but nobody has found a suitable fix even though it goes back a number of years now.

Hi @dcholme. Have you tried disabling the Ring skill and then enabling it? Do you have an active VPN on your network? If so, try disabling it, as a VPN can cause issues.
