Can't set up ring doorbell being told device is registered to someone else
troubleshooting
The device is mine. I have removed the device and tried to reinstall and still get the same request to become a shared user to transfer device

Hi @user_436a4f. Account ownership is determined by the email address that is used to set up the device. If you are the owner, make sure you are using the same email address to log in and to set up the device. If this was done a while ago, this could be an old email or possibly a spouses email.
