One sensor works but not on any device list or triggering notification on an iPhone

Our new Ring system has a sensor that does not show up on the Devices list of my Android Samsung phone or on my wife's iPhone. When I pick Base Station from the Devices list, I do see it there, but not in the regular Devices list, and it is, well, a device. (The Device list has 16 entries; is this the maximum it can show?)

More importantly, when I open the door with that sensor, it does trigger a notification on my phone's lock screen, but not on my wife's iPhone. The trigger event does appear on the Ring history on her phone, and other sensors do trigger a notification on the iPhone lock screen, so I know that the notifications are set properly there.

Are there any settings I can recheck to get this specific device to trigger notifications on my wife's phone 1. like it does on my phone and 2. like the other sensors do on my wife's phone?

Hi @user_370df9. Alarm devices are nested under the Ring Alarm Base Station. It is completely normal for it to be there. If your wife is not getting alerts on her phone, first make sure that she has access to the device as a Shared User. Next, she can select it on her phone and toggle her notifications.

OK, somehow the notifications for that one device were toggled off, so I turned them on and that fixed them. Thanks!

I understand now that the full list of alarm devices is found under Ring Alarm Base Station on the app. I do not understand why the Devices list would show a partial list of them; it would make more sense to list all the devices under "Devices" (given the title of the list and all) or not list any of them. Having some but not all is confusing.

Hi @user_370df9. Glad to hear you got this figured out! Having the devices nested under the Alarm Base Station helps keep things less cluttered on your main device list.
