Ring video door bell
I am having to replace my hard wired doorbell. Will the new doorbell work with existing chime or do I need to replace that as well? Thanks.

HiI have a Doorbell Pro (Hard wired) and replacing with whichever is compatible.

Hi @user_16028f. We have chime kit compatibility lists for each model of Ring Video Doorbell on our Help Center. I'd recommend verifying the make and model of the chime kit in your home, then checking if it is compatible with the model of Ring Doorbell you are interested in. Battery powered models do not need to be connected to existing wiring, while hardwired models do.
