New Router disconnects from RING Doorbell constanlty when accessing live view
I exchanged my old Netgear Nighthawk XXXX for a new Reyee RG-EW3200GX pro. I use the 2.4GHZ to connect to a Ring Wireless doorbell pro in my driveway (camera behind a metal door). The Nighthawak had a Ring Signal strength of 83 (very bad) but managed to connect and show live video each time. My new Reyee EW XXXX shows a much better signal strenght in Ring app (66) but does not manage to connect in Liveview at all ... each time the connection timed out and after that the Ring video doorbell is disconnected from Wifi and needs to be reset. I bought the Reyee based on the good tests on his signal strenght .. but it seems it does not work together with the Ring Video Doorbell pro ? Many thanks for any suggestion and tip, otherwise I will resend the router if it does not work like my very old installation with a +10 years old router . Thank you

Hi @user_2965fe. Using the 2.4GHz network is definitely ideal in this scenario, as it has a much farther effective range than 5GHz. It's possible that the ports and protocols used by Ring devices are not open on your router. I'd also suggest checking the router channel, and possibly changing it. If the Live View still doesn't work, you may want to consider going back to your previous router.
