Hi @_donnie_a. The [Ring Plug-In Adapter 2nd Generation](https://ring.com/products/video-doorbell-plugin-adapter-gen-2) is a DC power adapter, not an AC adapter, that will work with the Pro 2. Its power output is 24VDC, 0.5A, 12.0W. I hope this information helps.

Hi Donnie, I know this is from a few years ago but did it end up working for you? I attempted the same yesterday and it trips the circuit breaker and my power goes out whenever I plug in the adapter to the wall outlet. I think too much power is being output to the wired doorbell pro. The plug-in adapter says it is compatible with the wired doorbell pro so I don't understand why this is happening. I also connected the plug-in adapter back to my first ring doorbell which is the battery doorbell pro and it has no issues. Receives power and does not trip the circuit breaker. Ring customer service told me it is not compatible with the wired doorbell pro and their website is wrong. I don't believe this to be correct either. At least, I'm hoping it's not.
