Video Doorbell 3 Plus Black And White At Night

I had a Video Doorbell 2 (2020 Release) that was always nice, fairly sharp color at night. Just installed a Video Doorbell 3 Plus and it is black and white at night. Is it supposed to be like this? I read a review that says *"Night vision: We were also impressed with the 3 Plus’ night vision, which was black and white thanks to its infrared LED sensors. Even when we had a friend getting in from a red-eye in the middle of the night, we could clearly see him and buzz him in without having to call or text."* [security.org Video Doorbell 3 Plus Review](https://www.security.org/doorbell-camera/ring/review/3-plus/) I'd much rather have the "night color vision" of the Video Doorbell 2 (2020 Release) back. What a step backward.

    Hi @EMJ. Color Night Vision is a feature that is available on some of our Powered Devices (non-battery operated). This Help Center article **[here](https://support.ring.com/hc/en-us/articles/360038559351-Understanding-Color-Night-Vision-and-Troubleshooting-Night-Vision)** has some great information that describes Color Night Vision.       Thanks for the info. I think you might be misunderstanding me. The old Ring Video Doorbell 1 (very first version Ring made with 720p) we had ***always displayed motion at night IN COLOR***. The Video Doorbell 2 (2020 Release) we have ***always displays motion at night IN COLOR***. The new Video Doorbell 3 Plus we have ***ONLY displays motion at night IN BLACK AND WHITE***. Does the Video Doorbell 3 (not the 3 Plus) display motion in color at night or is it ***also*** black and white like the Video Doorbell 3 Plus? I do not like the black and white night vision of the Video Doorbell 3 Plus and would like to get just a Video Doorbell 3 if it does in fact do ***color night vision*** like the old version 1 and like the 2nd Generation. Thanks in advance.

      Hi @EMJ. Color Night Vision is not currently available for the Video Doorbell 3. For this reason, I shared information on how to make this Feature Request. In the Help Center article I shared, you will find a list of Ring Devices that do support Color Night Vision. I hope this clears things up for you!
