Urgent Norway Support Needed: Paying Subscriber Locked Out and Unable to Reach Ring Support
I am posting this from a newly created Ring account because I could not even log in to my original account to post here.
I still have access to the email address on my original account and I know the password. I was even able to change the password successfully. The problem is that Ring sends the verification code to an old phone number that I no longer have access to.
Because of that, I cannot sign in to my original account, access my subscription, manage my device, or contact support through that account.
I understand the security reasons behind two-factor authentication. My frustration is with the lack of a workable recovery path. I have spent many hours trying to resolve this issue. The support chatbot repeatedly directs me to contact support, yet the phone numbers provided for Norway have not worked for me, and I have been unable to find a way to reach a human who can help verify my identity and update my phone number.
I own the device, I have access to the original email address, I know the password, and I am a paying subscriber. I still live at the same address, and the doorbell is still connected to the same Wi-Fi network it has always used. I simply need a secure way to verify my identity and regain access to my account.
Can a Ring moderator please advise how I can reach someone who can assist with account recovery?
