Ring Solar Panel for Ring Doorbell Pro discontinued?
Was wondering if the solar panel for Ring Video Doorbell 3, Ring Video Doorbell 3+, Ring Video Doorbell 4, and Battery Video Doorbell Pro was discontinued. Can’t locate it on the website but I see it on the Amazon store page however it says the product is temporarily out of stock and a solar charger will not work for me since the doorbell is under a shade so no sunlight will come to it. I’m not looking to hardwire as the property is a rental and would prefer little to no drilling. Would the ring usb c solar panel work with the doorbell at all since the doorbell itself has a usb c charging port or are there any other options apart from the solar charger.

This is very disappointing. Why was this product discontinued? WIll a new version become available? The current solar solution does not meet my needs because my doorbell faces North. However, I could easily run wiring from the doorbell to a side of my house that gets abundant sunlight. Please consider offering this product again. Thank you.

Hi @user_630967. The Solar Panel for Doorbells is no longer available for purchase. The USB-C Solar Panel is not compatible with any Ring Doorbells, so it will not work with the Battery Doorbell Pro. You could look into the Plug-In Adapter for continuous power, https://ring.com/products/video-doorbell-plugin-adapter-gen-2.
