Ring doorbells not working in cold
troubleshooting
I have 2 Ring doorbells that are hardwired but in recent cold weather (20-30F) have stopped working. Battery reads at 0-5%. Ring Doorbell 2 and 2nd gen. If I recharge a battery it works for a short while but drains and stops again. Is Ring just not feasible for cold weather? Never had this issue in past years but this year has been colder.

Hi @jly34. Yes, very cold weather conditions will cause a battery to drain quicker in a Ring device even if it is hardwired. This Help Center article will provide you further information regarding this topic.
